Marketing Services

How will readers find out about your book?

Your book won't sell itself. You need to build awareness. BookLogix offers a range of marketing services to help build your marketing platform. Your book must be professionally edited before using our marketing and publicity services. This ensures that your book meets industry standards and will get the attention it deserves.

BookLogix offers the following marketing services:

ABA Advance Access Program -- BookLogix will submit the book to the American Booksellers Association's Advance Access Program, a twice-monthly email sent by ABA to member bookstores containing offers to receive advance (preview) copies, reading copies, or finished books for review. 

Award Nominations -- Your book is submitted to awards that it qualifies for. Some of the awards are free and some require a nominal fee that is approved by the author before submission.

Book Reviews -- A copy of your book is sent to professional book review services. Choose from several options. 

FreeBooksy -- BookLogix will coordinate and run and online book promotion campaign for the book on FreeBooksy. FreeBooksy is an online book subscription service for readers that offers one-day book promotions for free books. 

GoodReads Author Account -- BookLogix will establish an account in the author’s name on GoodReads, which is the largest social platform for readers.

IBPA Books for Review Catalog -- BookLogix will submit your book for inclusion in the Independent Book Publishers Association’s “Books for Review” cooperative catalog, which is currently mailed quarterly to approximately 3,000 reviewers, journalists, and bloggers across the United States.

IBPA Indie Titles Catalog -- BookLogix will submit your book for inclusion in the Independent Book Publishers Association’s bookstore catalog “Indie Titles for Your Consideration.” The catalog is currently mailed quarterly to approximately 3,500 chain and independent booksellers and buyers across the US.

IBPA Library e-Blast -- BookLogix will coordinate with IBPA to design a targeted e-blast to a select group of 5,000 librarians for either public libraries, college libraries, or the K-12 library markets.

Lexile Measure -- BookLogix will submit the book to the Lexile® Framework for Reading for a Lexile Measure. A Lexile Measure is an internationally recognized measurement tool that measures text complexity and reading level for children’s and educational books.

Media/Selling Kit (Press Kit) -- BookLogix will develop a comprehensive media kit or selling kit for the book and author. Choice of electronic kit or physical & electronic kit.

Press Release -- BookLogix will compose and distribute a press release promoting the launch of the book or other author-related news to a targeted media list with an average of 200 media contacts.

Printed Promotional Materials -- Printed promotional materials are designed to match the look and feel of the book and contain messaging to target the book's audience and promote the book and book launch events. For more information on printed promotional materials click here.

Professional Headshot -- Professional headshot done on-site at BookLogix. 

Social Media Set-Up --BookLogix will set-up relevant social media pages for author if they have not yet established the following social media pages for their book, or themselves as an author: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and/or Google Plus.

Social Media Maintenance (Posting) -- For authors who do not have the time or desire to maintain their social media, BookLogix will maintain social media account(s). 

Video Book Trailer -- BookLogix will produce a custom, high-end video book trailer to promote the book. The video can be used in a number of methods to promote the book. For more information on video book trailers click here.

Website Design -- BookLogix will work with the author to create a website to promote your book. BookLogix will work with author to obtain correct website domains in book title and also in author’s name as needed. Website will include method for buyers to purchase the book.
